Braces
We are excited to be able to offer this service to our patients!

Often, braces are needed to correct dental issues. Dr. Dove has completed over 300 hours of orthodontic education in order to provide the best possible care to each patient that he evaluates and treats. Recommendations are presented and the patient and doctor together decide on an orthodontic treatment plan.
Braces are used to straighten teeth and also to provide a stable relationship between the upper and lower teeth. Additionally, retention is a significant portion of the treatment plan and one of the final steps of the treatment process.
Root Canals
A root canal becomes a necessary procedure when the nerve or the pulp of the tooth is damaged, but the tooth is still intact enough to be saved. After removal of the root and pulp, the tooth is prepared for a permanent crown to save the outer portion of the tooth and retain placement, structure and alignment resulting in little disruption to the mouth.
Crowns and Bridges

Dove Dental is proud to offer same day crowns using CEREC Technology. This machine allows us to repair and restore teeth that require something stronger than a filling all in a single visit. This one day procedure allows for a considerable saving of valuable school, work and leisure time.
Bridges are somewhat of an extension of crowns in that two crowns are used to support a false tooth or teeth to accommodate a missing tooth or teeth. A bridge is essentially created to rectify a gap in the teeth.
Fillings
Almost all fillings placed by Dove Dental are white composite fillings – no need for concern any longer about mercury in the filling material. Using white resin to fill decayed teeth ensures that the tooth restoration is virtually invisible adding to the esthetic appeal. Other options to restore broken and decayed teeth are available and can be discussed during the treatment planning appointment.
Implants
Dove Dental can guide you through this procedure in conjunction with our oral surgeon who will actually place the implants. We will provide the restorative work of placing the post and adjusting the crown to fit the implant. Implants are necessary when a tooth is missing and the patient wants a single replacement crown in its place as long as the patient is a surgical candidate for placement of the post.
Veneers
A veneer is a cosmetic facing that is placed on the front of the tooth to give it a more pleasing esthetic appearance. This can be done in one appointment or two. The results are usually a little better with the two appointment procedure because a laboratory will fabricate the veneer to your exact desire and specifications.
Services for Children

We begin treating children usually around the age of 3. This is to allow all of the baby teeth to erupt into the mouth and is also approximately when the child is able to understand and cooperate with adult directions. We can provide the full range of treatment from cleanings to fillings on children ages 3 and up. We additionally strive to provide a comfortable and inviting atmosphere for these youngsters as they embark on this new oral health experience.
Cleaning
The most important part of maintaining a healthy smile is routine dental cleanings and check-ups. We recommend patients receive a professional cleaning every 6 months. These cleanings/check-ups allow the doctor to verify that the gums are healthy and to find and fix small cavities before they become painful toothaches or result in further problems. Maintaining good oral hygiene can result in a cavity free check-up and a healthy smile.
Whitening
As this is becoming a popular procedure with patients today, we utilize a home whitening process that is comfortable and predictable. Most important is that it can be used to maintain the shade that you are happy with.
